Mangiafuoco is the result of an appraisal of the risks deriving from fire and the increasing costs that fire damage represents for society. It consists of a flame inhibitor equipped with a trigger system that does not depend on an external energy source thus dispensing with the need for periodic maintenance. This is the product’s novelty value when compared with traditional extinguishers. Mangiafuoco was approved by the Fire Protection Department of R.I.N.A. (Italian Naval Registry) after passing a serious of function tests carried out under difficult conditions for twenty days with changes in temperature ranging from -20ºC to + 60ºC. Mangiafuoco is extremely versatile, has compact dimensions (27 cm in length and 4 cm in diameter, all weighing just 395 grammes) and is portable as well as being ecological thanks to the action of the aerosol used.
